News: Winter Weather Warning! (Dallas/Fort Worth & Texas)

Winter Storm Warning issued
A Winter Storm Warning has been issued for the metroplex and areas east. Parker and Wise Counties are also in this warning. The warning starts at 6 a.m. Thursday and goes through Friday at noon. These are the areas that will have the worst wintry weather conditions/heavier accumulations.

Elsewhere in NTX (the purple shaded counties) it's a winter weather advisory for impacts from a wintry mix of sleet, freezing rain, rain and snow. The impacts are expected to be LOWER in these areas.

While we are currently not expecting any outages we wanted everyone to be aware.
